Article 25 Lecture

57'10 is proud to welcome Emily Reilly from Article 25 is delivering a lecture on Thursday, the 22nd of October at 5pm in SB42.

Article 25 are a humanitarian organisation that work in underprivileged areas of the world to bring a better standard of living to the area.

The 25th Article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the only article which refers to the built environment. It says that adequate shelter and housing are a fundamental human right. Article 25's work directly addresses this right.

Cheese and Wine Party 8th October

Ho Yin Ng provided 57 10 members with a lecture on Thursday night. It was interesting to hear of a practice truly collaborating with trades and professionals outside architecture. The employment of car designers within the design team and boat builders in their contruction process gives a sense of the in depth process in which AL_A undertake in their projects.

The Corian project was particularly interesting.
